Reading & Math Intervention
Our reading intervention team provides direct, targeted and individualized instruction based on students’ literacy needs. By using evidence-based instructional strategies in small groups or one-on-one format, we support students in developing and maintaining foundational literacy skills. Phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension needs are all fundamental parts of becoming a confident, independent reader. Reading interventionists monitor student progress, adjust instruction accordingly, and collaborate with their students’ classroom teachers and families to help all students.
